The Gospel Poem
Thou art the author, whom knows the play,
Thou art the potter, we are the clay,
Faithful Creator whom we disobeyed,
God sent His Son, to ransom us slaves,
Christ died for our sins and conquered the grave,
remission of sins, repent and have faith,
O loving Father who saves by His grace,
the wages of sin, a deaths guilty case,
the Lord Jesus Christ suffered in our place,
endure through the trials, come seek the Lord's face,
Lord help me please to finish the race,
my Shield and my Strength, mercy kept me safe,
O sinner I am, redeemed through the Lamb.
The Head of the Church, as husband to the wife,
Lion of Judah, way truth and the life,
the Holy Spirit, our guide sent to us,
Holy and Just, whom I only trust,
vanity, vanity, this world is but dust,
you reap what you sow, abstain from all lusts,
examine your faith, Christ is enough,
Fearing the Lord, this is a must,
Humble thyself, have charity and love.
Worthy Sacrifice, the Cross where He lay,
Jesus Christ, the same forever and today,
An honor to serve, an poem if I may,
the scripture is True, the Word to obey.
— An Holy Spirit lead poem, written by an wretched sinner saved by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His atonement through His death for our sins, burial and resurrection, set as an propitiation from God the Father who has bestowed His love upon us. (carl) Borne Ministries
